A tiny but interesting fact about the word Whisky.
The term ‘whisky’ actually means ‘water of life’. The term is derived originally from Gaelic ‘uisge beatha’ or ‘usquebaugh’ [uhs-kwi-baw, -bah].
Gaelic is a Celtic language spoken mainly in the highlands of Scotland.
