Waterford Cuvee Argot Irish Single Malt Whisky ABV 47% 700ml

Waterford

Highly anticipated, Waterford Argot aligns both with the continuity and the departure from the distillery’s previous releases since Spring 2020. Continuity first, as this product adheres to the key and revolutionary principles of the Waterford concept, as defined by the iconoclast Mark Reynier: barley choice above all, elite production methods, complete traceability, absolute transparency with the TEIREOIR Code on the back of the bottle… But Argot is also a rebel, a troublemaker, which once again showcases Waterford’s creativity and its team’s ability to constantly reinvent themselves. The French name Argot was not chosen by chance, as it refers to an underground language formerly reserved for bohemians and renegades, known only to the initiated. Inspired by the greatest châteaux of Bordeaux, Argot is the ‘second wine’ of Waterford, the little brother of the ‘grand vin’ The Cuvée. Accessible at 47%, it retains all the typical aromatic complexity of Waterford single malts, with an additional hint of peat to add an extra spark. Waterford Argot is a cuvée presented without a case and brings together several origins of farms, vibrant, enthusiastic, marked by the blending of 4 high-level casks. It highlights indulgent fruit notes and spicy fragrances, while also offering the typical malty character of the distillery’s whiskies. Already a reference for both loyal fans of the brand and the curious!
