Nikka All Malt. This bottling is a blend of Yoichi and Miyagikyo single malts and a whisky produced using 100% malted barley, distilled in a column still. A stylish exercise in different stills.
TASTING NOTES
Color:old gold with golden hues
Nose:lively, mineral. Animal (leather, smoked meat) and lightly smoky (tobacco, ash), it evolves with fresh herbs and ripe fruits (apple)
Palate:creamy, gourmand. After a sweetopeningthat contrasts with the liveliness of the nose, it develops with ripe fruits (white grapes), becoming increasingly oily (sunflower oil)
Finish:smooth,liquorice-infused, it ischaracterisedby notes of noble wood and spices (clove). Concentrated, it opens up with exotic fruit (coconut milk) and florals (honeysuckle)
