The Peakon's Tail Series - Peacocks and Cherry Tree (Left)
Peacocks in Oriental art have auspicious symbolism. They are symbols of wisdom and said to have the power to steer the faithful away from evil. Therefore it's common to see people using peakon art as interior deco in Asia.

DONG FANG MING releaseed "The Peakon's Tail Series" in a set 5 bottles, all single cask bottling of Scotch single malt, featuring five bueautiful peakon artworks as labels. This bottle of 1991 whisky is from the Speyside Distillery. Featuring the left side partial of a Japanese folding screen painting (byōbu-e) "Peacocks and Cherry Tree" by Imazu Tatsuyuki during Taishō period (1912–26). Showcasing a success and general prosperity.

Tasting Note

Nose: In a tropical palace garden, a fest is going to start. There're lots of tropical fruit on the table, such as pineapples, melons, ripe pears. The waiter brought some fresh honey and vanilla. Someone is burning delicate wood near by the table.

Mouth: Medium body. It taste so balance just like a professional dancer. There's a oak table next to the dancing pool with lots of fruit on it, also toasted almond. Someone is chewing bubble gum, and burning incense again. Who is doing that?

Finish: It's a long party. Woody tannins with sweetness.
