A single cask, sherried Caol Ila! Distilled on Islay in 2010, and filled into a sherry butt for the next nine years. Eventually, Langside bottled it up for the Hepburn's Choice series, with a release of 797 bottles at 46% ABV.
Nose: A dusting of cocoa, singed vanilla pod, and spicy oak.
Palate: Cinnamon and sponge cake balance savoury peat smoke.
Finish: A good helping of dried fruit on an otherwise maritime, smoky finish.
