Bowmore 1992 25 Year Old Mackillop's Choice Cask #4193 ABV 50.7% 70CL (Pre-Order 7 Days)

This 25 year old Single Cask Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled at the Bowmore Distillery on Islay on 17 September 1992 and was bottled from a bourbon cask in September 2017. Vanilla and heather with a touch of citrus peel on the nose, a smoky honeyed palate with well integrated wood spice and oak which follows through on the finish.

Nose: Gentle citrusy lemony malt backed by some clear, yet balanced, smoky peatiness.
Palate: Nicely peaty without being over heavy with a nice balance of citrus tones as well as some marine tones.
Finish: Nice citrus lemon peel finish.
