Amrut Master Distiller's Reserve Indian Single Malt PX Sherry Butt ABV 50% 700ml

The Master Distiller’s Reserve is the first expression of an annual series of single casks selected by the master distiller of Amrut. This expression of pure elegance is made from whiskey aged in ex-bourbon casks and then in an old Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. This single cask also marks the first peated expression aged in a sherry cask for Amrut.

Colour : Amber.

Nose : Dominant aromas of dried fruits, figs, and plums evolving on caramel, chocolate, and tobacco. In the background, there are also sweet notes of melon and phenols.

Palate : The attack on the palate is faithful to the nose: on dried fruits, caramel, and honey. The mid-palate is syrupy with flavors of lemon, tobacco, and a touch of spices.

Finish : Sweet and dry accompanied by phenols.

Profile : Gourmet and peaty.
