Amrut 8 Years Single Malt Little Greedy Angels with Whisky Glass Giftbox ABV 50% 700ml

Amrut

In 2014, the Indian distillery Amrut had difficulty obtaining peated malt. So, they instead made the bold move to smoke dry their own barley with peat sourced from Aberdeenshire in Scotland. Amrut 8 Years Old Little Greedy Angels Chairman’s Reserve is the first release made with Amrut’s very own peated malt. The single malt aged in oak barrels for 8 years, and was bottled in 2022 at 50% ABV. Fun fact: the amount of alcohol that evaporates from whisky casks during maturation is called Angel’s Share. Because of the warm climate in India, Amrut has a high evaporation rate: the alcohol in the distillery’s whisky gets gobbled up by those greedy angels real fast! This gift set comes with a tasting glass and crystal stopper. Please note: it takes 2 spaces in a parcel.
