The Akkeshi Daikan is the 6th release in the distillery’s “24 Solar Terms” lineup. Akkeshi malt makes up the majority of the imported New Pot Grain, which is aged for more than three years on a hilltop overlooking Akkeshi Bay. It is the season of great cold, and the town of Akkeshi is surrounded by a world of severe sub-zero temperatures. Why don't you warm up with whisky nurtured in the harsh but rich nature and wait for the coming of spring? Tasting Notes Orange tea, brown sugar, strawberry, lemon, citrus acidity and sweetness, sea salt. White pepper, cocoa bitters and chocolate-like sweetness follow.
